We have a cover, an Amazon pre-order page, an interactive map (still in development) and a (rudimentary, evolving) website.
The weblog stays here; the website is a wiki-like project.
So please let me know what you think so far. I’m pretty isolated here in my little study, and it’s nice to hear from y’all.
Too late at night to think hard about your new stuff. BUT, there’s an interesting post over at Writers Unboxed about moving to a new website, since the old one isn’t working anymore. The most surprising thing for me is the number of people who look at the stuff on smart phones, not at their desks on big screens. Go see, it may have an impact on what you’re doing.
hey asdfg: nice to see your dancing pixels. Sorry about the delay in replying. I know that it would be a good idea to start over again, but this site is so huge, I hate even thinking about it. I’ll have to gather my courage (and find the time).
Lovely cover. Glad you gave us a peek at it finally. I think it gives a good clear idea of the time period, location and the kind of novel it is (well given that I only have a general idea). Things in the publishing and world in general that are linked to the internet are changing so quickly, it’s difficult to keep up. Good luck with your website. I don’t know if it’s in your publisher’s hands or yours, but if you can make changes and update with ease that is a great plus.
Pretty cover! Looking forward to it!
This is a beautiful cover and it adds to my need to know what is inside!
Love the color fade on the cover! Have the book in my Amazon cart and hope the audiobook releases on the same day.
Anne — I don’t know about the audio release date, but I’ll post here as soon as I do. I’m kinda addicted to audiobooks myself, so I understand.
I find the cover enticing!
