I guess I have to thank Alison Kent for her confession because I feel compelled to follow her example. I’m sure I’ll feel better after I admit to all the books I’ve preordered from Amazon. So here we go, in no particular order:
The Serpent’s Tale (Ariana Franklin); Change of Heart (Jodi Picoult); Evermore (Lynn Viehl); The Girl Who Stopped Swimming (Joshilyn Jackson); Duma Key (Stephen King); Dreamers of the Day (Mary Doria Russell); Phantom Prey (John Sandford); Nothing to Lose (Lee Child); Elvis Cole untitlted (Robert Crais); LA Outlaws (T Jefferson Parker).
This made me laugh because I often forget what I’ve ordered — especially if it’s pre-ordered or back-ordered. Sometimes, Amazon will send an e-mail to inform me that a book will take longer than anticipated to arrive — and then it’s a nice surprise when it gets here. I feel like I’m getting a gift! Maybe now is a good time to check what I’m waiting on.
I haven’t ordered anything but I definitely am keeping an eye out for a number of these books…including Pajama Girls.
One book that I should have mentioned on the original post that I am looking forward to next year is the new book from Sandra Gulland. Not sure when it comes out though!
Dare I say I’ve ordered a couple more since then??? THE IRON HUNT for one, and the Ariana Franklin, which I saw listed at Sybil’s blog. I held off on the Lee Child only because I’ve got about 5 Jack Reacher books still to be read!
