One more giveaway before the end of the year

Interested in a signed first edition of Queen of Swords? To put your name in this particular hat, please use the new form in the right hand column (or, if you’re using IE, the form might be at the bottom of this page someplace, but it will still work) to sign up for my experiment in newsletter-land.

Everybody is eligible for this giveaway, no matter what you’ve won in the past.

Let me know if you have any problems with the sign up process, which isn’t complex but does require a couple steps. To protect you from the dreaded undead spammers.

I have a free sixty day trial thing going. If enough people sign up before the end of the trial, I’ll keep it going.

Just had a comment from someone who couldn’t find the signup box. Here’s a screencap with green arrows pointing to where you should see the box. Please comment if you don’t see it anywhere at all.

Newsletterclip-1UPDATE: Some people seem to still be having trouble with the newsletter sign up form, so I’ve put another one on this page, which works just as well.

  1. Dear Rosina, definitely interested, but can’t find the form. I’m using Mozilla Firefox, but it doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the right hand side.

  2. Rosina,
I’m using IE, found the form had no problem signing up. Just waiting for my e-mail confirmation. Will let you know if I don’t get it. As I’m sitting here typing to you, just got my e-mail to confirm my subscription to the newsletter. :)

  3. I am using Safari and the screen is slightly different. Your blog appears in the middle of the screen and when I highlight the tabs at top (writ by my own hand, etc..) the blog flips to the left hand side and looks like your screencap. The problem… as soon as I take the cursor away from the tabs, the blog goes back to the middle, so I cannot get to the newsletter sign up.

  4. Rosina, No worries on my behalf finding the sign-up button. Have done so and sent my confirmation back so am now looking forward to the newsletter!

  5. It was easy Rosina, and thank you so much for the fun opportunity, I’m signed up and confirmed and waiting… p.s. thanks for the whole wilderness stories, I have enjoyed each one many, many times over.

  6. Not sure how this works, as I’ve never done it before, but it sure looks interesting.
I love the Wilderness series; I just finished Queen of Swords, and it will be difficult to wait for the next one.
I have a request: could you possibly provide a genealogy chart for the Bonner family? There are so many fascinating characters in the series, but since it is such a long time between books, I sometimes have a hard time keeping track of them all…

P.S. Love the sketches of the characters you did.

  7. Hi Rosina, I did fill out a information page for the newsletter but it doesn’t seem to be going through. I got an email from you saying that I have to fill out a form at the same place for confirmation. Is there another more detailed form? Sorry…I’m being a pain!:)

  8. I signed up for the newsletter, but wanted to say I have just finished reading “Queen of Swords”. It is a wonderful book! You did a spectacular job and I was moved to tears many times over the course of reading it. My only regret is that it ended all too soon, lol! Kudos to you!!!

  9. Valerie — thank you kindly. May I say that I was really struck by your beautiful doll sculptures? I have always been interested in doll art, and I admire the fine details in your tiny figures.

  10. I am so sorry to be a bother.

I tried to sign up for the newsletter but did not receive a confirmation email. I checked my junk mail and haven’t found anything. I was wondering if you could tell me the “sender” name so I can do a search. I’d appreciate that quite a bit.

If it is not in my junk mail, should I try again?

    Thanks!
